In nearly eight years, it developed the AKSOPEEK® series of materials, breaking the monopoly of foreign countries in this field. At present, the price of foreign counterparts is about 18,000-20,000 yuan/KG. We have independently developed and produced medical implant-grade PEEK (polyetheretherketone). The sales price of one kilogram has been reduced a lot, which has obvious advantages. A 1-meter-long PEEK plate can process about 20 PEEK skull pieces, which can be used for the surgery of 20 patients with skull defects.
