On June 10, 2023, the “continuous carbon fiber reinforced PEEK thermoplastic composites, implant-grade PEEK resins and profiles” developed by Jiangsu Junhua Special Polymer Materials Co., Ltd. passed the new product appraisal organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology. The meeting was chaired by Huang Daoben, a first-level researcher of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and was held at Jiangsu Junhua Special Engineering Plastics Products Co., Ltd. There were also six leaders from Changzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Wujin District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Wujin High-tech Zone Management Committee, and Professor Yu Xinhai of Donghua University (Chairman of the Appraisal Committee), Professor Wang Chengyi of Changzhou University (Vice Chairman of the Appraisal Committee), Professor Cui Chaoliang of Nanjing University of Technology (Vice Chairman of the Appraisal Committee), Professor Lin Bencai of Changzhou University, Associate Professor Qi Zhenchao and Hu Junshan of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Engineer Xu Kai of Shandong Medical Device and Pharmaceutical Packaging Inspection Institute. The chairman, deputy general manager, head of the medical division and other senior leaders of Jiangsu Junhua Special Plastics as well as technical R&D personnel attended the meeting.
