According to World Bank statistics, the average lifespan of American companies is 40 years, while the average lifespan of Chinese companies is only 4.5 years, and the average lifespan of private companies is only 2.5 years. There are two fundamental reasons why the lifespan of Chinese private companies is so low:
1. Without increasing revenue, sales can never go up;
2. Without cost-saving, i.e. cost control, products are not competitive.
After 14 years of ups and downs, the company has grown into a shining star in the profile segment industry. The company is prepared for danger in times of peace, is not limited to the status quo, and constantly strives to explore new sources and cost-saving!
In recent years, the company has taken a multi-pronged approach to open source: strengthening internal training to improve employees’ skills and knowledge reserves; vigorously introducing advanced equipment to comprehensively improve production capacity and production efficiency; strengthening R&D capabilities and actively exploring new processes; introducing ERP systems to improve the company’s information level; participating in exhibitions, expanding network promotion, establishing a network operation department, and continuously expanding sales channels.
At the same time, the company has established a process optimization team and established a series of systems from proposal, project establishment, discussion to rewards to actively promote process optimization and improvement.
Carry forward the lean spirit and promote enterprise development
At 3:00 p.m. on July 31, 2021, a summary of process optimization in the first half of 2021 and a meeting on the implementation of plans for the third quarter were held in the No. 3 conference room on the second floor of the company. General Managers Li, Liu, and Tan attended the meeting and made important instructions.
Looking back on the past and summarizing lessons learned,In a warm atmosphere, the project team and the leaders reviewed the operation of the optimization team in the first half of the year and conducted on-site evaluation of the projects in the past stage.
In the past stage, many projects have emerged, several of which are eye-catching.
The “comb tooth processing technology optimization” led by Director Wei mobilized the wisdom of the masses, improved the processing technology, and increased the class output and work efficiency of the comb teeth by 16 times.
The “cable stripping improvement” led by Director Ding changed from manual stripping to equipment stripping, which greatly reduced the difficulty and intensity of personnel operation and increased the shift production and work efficiency by more than 3 times.
The “boring tool optimization” led by Director Xie broke through the constraints of thinking and increased the shift production and production efficiency by 25% with a small cost investment.
There are many more projects, which are not listed here one by one. Each project team spoke about their own projects with passion and presented them to the members of the process optimization team. After on-site scoring and statistics, a first prize, two second prizes, and six participation prizes were awarded.
First Prize Director Wei
Second Prize Supervisor Ding Director Kang
Participation Award Director Xie Deputy Director Niu Technician Zhai Director Yan Deputy Director Zhu Technician Xu
Be proactive and forge ahead. After summarizing and evaluating the excellence, all departments brainstormed and actively participated in the improvement activities, displaying and establishing a total of 17 optimization projects.
During the project establishment process, the company’s senior leaders constantly emphasized the importance of improvement and expressed their determination to strengthen and promote improvement.
Work attitude determines the height of the career. In the medical workshop, an ordinary polishing master has done extraordinary deeds in an ordinary position. He studied hard, continuously improved, and used exquisite polishing technology to win praise from customers for the company, fully demonstrating the power of research and improvement.
During the meeting, General Manager Li pointed out:
1. Process optimization should be done early rather than late, and the earlier the optimization, the earlier the benefits;
2. Pay attention to the size of the optimization benefits and the size of the investment, and pay more attention to the input-output ratio;
3. Everyone can innovate, and everyone can gain recognition from customers and the market through innovation to reflect their own abilities and professional value to their careers and society.
Afterwards, General Manager Liu required:
1. All project members need to enhance their awareness of improvement and increase their participation;
2. Strengthen the continuity of process optimization projects, and timely feedback to sales managers on the improvement results of projects with significant breakthroughs in cost, and timely transform the improvement results into competitive advantages;
3. The solidification and standardization of process optimization results also need to be continuously strengthened, and the display of optimization results should be done well.
General Manager Tan added some deficiencies in this report:In the project reports of this report, the goals of each project are not clearly defined, and the project goals need to be clarified.
Summarizing the past and looking forward to the future, in the midst of warm applause, the company’s senior leaders awarded prizes to the winners, encouraged them to make persistent efforts, and encouraged those who did not win to work hard. The road to process improvement has just begun, and there is still a long way to go, but we believe that as long as we keep working hard, Junhao’s tomorrow will be even better and the future is promising!
