The Beginning: Planning
On August 13, 2020, the customer informed us that we must deliver 7 sets of flower baskets within a week. This task is arduous and crucial at the same time, but Junhua colleagues will not back down, let alone say “no” lightly. An hour later, Mr. Liu, the deputy general manager of production, urgently organized a special project meeting to coordinate and formulate a processing plan, and worked out a production progress control table, with the detailed division of labor implemented to specific persons in charge!
Execution: Collaboration
01. Carved and roughened to complete the nodes
After the meeting, Director Wei of the carving workshop quickly gave the cutting list to the sawing department, and actively coordinated the machines and personnel, and arranged two shifts to rush this product. At the same time, he also arranged himself to work on the night shift. All colleagues in the carving workshop gave up their rest time on Sunday at the same time. In the end, the roughing was completed 3 days ahead of schedule, which won time for future welding and finishing! 02. Time node for welding completion
Due to the high melting point of PEEK (343 degrees), poor thermal conductivity, no pressure during welding, complex part structure and uneven thickness of part structure, peek welding is not as good as other ordinary plastics. Welding has certain difficulty, but there are always more solutions than difficulties. Under the guidance of General Manager Liu, we made tooling fixtures, welding torches, etc. After the hard work of Deputy Director Xie of the CNC workshop, the welding time node was 3 days ahead of schedule. The welding weld basically met the customer’s requirements, but during the welding process we also encountered problems such as desoldering, deformation and surface yellowing. But we will not be discouraged. In the field of PEEK welding, we will continue to work hard, explore and move forward!
03. Time node for completion of fine carving and fine machining
Due to the high technical content of fine machining, high-end equipment is required.
