As a new type of orthopedic medical material, it stands out among many materials and has been widely used in medical fields such as trauma, spine and orthopedic surgery. The world’s implant-grade PEEK materials, equipment and manufacturing technologies are monopolized by companies such as Invibio in the UK. The domestic self-sufficiency rate is low, and more than 80% depends on imports. It is in a state of foreign monopoly. Domestic research and development has only begun in recent years.
