Junhua Special Plastics, headquartered in Changzhou, Jiangsu, is a research and development company focusing on the application of high-performance special engineering plastic profiles and products such as polyetheretherketone (PEEK) and polyimide (PI). It has been researching and tracking the development trends of international and domestic high-performance polymers for a long time.

In order to build a complete production chain of PEEK resin raw material polymerization, continuous extrusion of plate and rod profiles, and research and development of finished parts, Junhua Special Plastics invested in the construction of a 2,500 ton/year polyetheretherketone resin and products project in Jining New Materials Industrial Park, Shandong Province in October 2017.

On April 23, 2018, Shandong Junhao High Performance Polymer Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary of Junhua Special Plastics, was registered and established in Jining New Materials Industrial Park, Shandong Province.

After more than a year of operation, the project approval, planning, land approval and other permit approvals were completed, as well as environmental assessment, safety assessment and energy assessment procedures. The project broke ground in October 2019. It is planned to start trial production in August 2020.
