02 Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) Technology Innovation Center On August 12, 2024, the Jining Municipal Science and Technology Bureau issued the “Notice on the Announcement of the 2024 Municipal Science and Technology Innovation Platform ‘Full Coverage’ Action Recognition List” (Jikezi [2024] No. 17), and Junhao Technology Innovation Center was recognized as the “Jining High-Performance Special Engineering Plastic Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) Technology Innovation Center”, further consolidating the innovation foundation and building a platform for the introduction and cultivation of talents. Shandong Junhao Since its establishment in 2018, Shandong Junhao has been focusing on the research and development, production and sales of high-performance polymers, producing special materials such as PEEK, PEK, PI for various application industries, with high toughness, high purity, high strength, high wear resistance, high temperature resistance, easy molding and other excellent product characteristics. In December 2019, Shandong Junhao established a technology innovation center, aiming to build a technology innovation system with enterprises as the main body, market-oriented, and combining production, education and research, and enhance the company’s ability to continuously innovate. The Technology Innovation Center has successively introduced a group of industry experts with doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s degrees. It has a 1,000m² R&D office and test center station, equipped with 36 various R&D test, detection and information equipment, and is continuously improving the technology innovation infrastructure. After years of research, development and testing, Shandong Junhao has 6 new proprietary technologies and achievements in the fields of special plastics such as PEEK and PI in the past three years, and has established a long-term cooperative relationship with domestic and foreign universities, research institutes and enterprises with the technology center as the leading R&D center. In 2021, Shandong Junhao was recognized as a “technology-based small and medium-sized enterprise”, and has won this title twice in a row. It has successively undertaken scientific research projects such as municipal science and technology plan projects and provincial science and technology plan projects. The research and development covers aerospace, medical devices, electronic semiconductors, new energy vehicles and other industries, and is well received by the market. Shandong Junhao has realized the closed-loop management of DCS system control production, and the production process is digitalized and intelligent. In the future, it will be built into a high-performance special polymer material polymerization factory based on industrialization 4.0 and leading in China such as PEEK.
